Body Measurement Instructions for Ordering Your Dress
At GraceCompanyCrafts, we are dedicated to creating dresses that fit you perfectly. To ensure the best results, we require accurate measurements. Don't worry, this doesn't mean it's a custom order. It simply allows us to tailor the dress to your specific body proportions. The measurements we need are as follows:
- Bust measurement
- Waist circumference
- Hip measurement
- Overall Height: Measure from the top of your head to the floor
- Arm circumference
- Arm length (for dresses with long sleeves only)
- Full-length photo without face. This is necessary for us to better understand your body proportions. Any information you provide is strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order to the highest precision. However, if for any reason this is not possible, there's no need to worry. We will work with the measurements you provide.
Below on this page, you can find more detailed instructions for taking each measurement.
Measurements of Bust, Waist, and Hips
Please take the measurements as shown in the illustration. Stand up straight, relax, and wrap the measuring tape around yourself. Guide the tape along the areas indicated by the red lines in the image below. Ensure that the tape snugly fits your body, but is not too tight. Measurements should be taken wearing thin clothing. Please note that some individuals may have different shapes of hips and bust than shown in the image. In such cases, measurements should be taken at the highest points of the bust and hips.
Arm circumference
Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your forearm. Make sure the tape snugly fits around your arm, but is not overly tight. The measurement should be taken on bare skin or with thin clothing. Keep your arm relaxed and slightly bent at the elbow. Ensure that the measuring tape is positioned at the same level and hasn't shifted up or down the arm.
Measuring Arm Length
Arm length - begin the measurement from point 2, place the measuring tape on the OUTER side of the arm (towards the pinky finger) and end at the wrist line. The arm should be slightly bent at the elbow. For 3/4 sleeves, end the measurement at the elbow level. If the arm is fully extended and lowered, end the measurement at the base of the thumb.
Please send us a photo of your arm with the measuring tape on it, clearly showing the numbers (similar to the photo with the man). No need to include your face in the photo. Any information you provide (measurements, photos, personal correspondence, etc.) is strictly confidential and will be used solely to ensure the highest precision in our work.
If you are taking the measurements yourself, for convenience, you can secure the measuring tape with adhesive tape (the red arrows indicate where to attach the measuring tape with adhesive tape) and capture a mirror photo of yourself without showing your face.
Please remember that accurate and precise measurements will help us create a dress that fits you perfectly. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.
